Nari Shin is our scholarship recipient
I’m Nari Shin and I am a high school senior at TASIS Dorado who will be attending Harvard University to achieve my lifelong dream to be a surgeon. KFPR has been a huge part of my life as a South Korean in Puerto Rico. For instance, with KFPR, I have volunteered to provide aid to earthquake victims with disabilities, packed goodie bags for people economically affected by COVID, organized bake sales for pediatric cancer patients in different medical organizations/hospitals, worked as staff and script writer in a Kpop Concert, created the first student led Korean Culture Club in the Caribbean, and assisted with the annual Lunar New Year event.
